International Weeks Against Racism

‘Die Internationalen Wochen gegen den Rassismus’ / The International Weeks Against Racism take place in Germany from the 15th until the 28th of March. ‘Stiftung gegen Rassismus’ organises the campaign since January 2016. EFDN and Show Racism the Red Card Europe project partners support the awareness campaign. All football organisations are invited to join our ‘#Morethanfootball Solidarity Chain’ and use our free campaign material during the ‘Show Racism the Red Card – Solidarity Week’ to make a stand against racism and for solidarity and diversity.

Take a stand against racism
Show Racism the Red Card (SRtRC) Europe is an anti-racism and anti-discrimination programme coordinated by EFDN. Professional clubs, grassroots clubs, schools and other partners and individuals can join the campaign and deliver our #DiversityWins educational programme. Sign up now and download our resources to make a stand against racism and discrimination.
Join #Morethanfootball Solidarity Chain
For the 5th anniversary of the #Morethanfootball Action Weeks, together with the participating clubs, leagues and FAs, we want to demonstrate our solidarity and share the spirit of #Morethanfootball online and make it possible for others to join. To create the chain, we ask you to take a picture of your players, staff, volunteers, participants, beneficiaries or others giving their hands to someone outside of the picture frame. Side by side, we are able to make the longest human solidarity chain in European football. Create additional videos to make your solidarity chains even more interactive and inspirational.
Post from 24th of March onwards, please use #morethanfootball, #DiversityWins and tag our social media accounts so we can share your posts and activities. Send us the pictures and photos that we can create a human chain across borders online.
How to join
- Take photos of you, staff, players, coaches and beneficiaries pretending to hold hands
- Post on the 24th of March or later on during the campaign
- Use #morethanfootball in the caption
- Use square format (1:1) or landscape (16:9) for photos and videos
- Be creative for the videos!
- Motivate beneficiaries, partners and supporters of your football organisation to join
- Send us the photos and footage via email to actionweek@morethanfootball.eu

Nutze unsere kostenlosen Materialen von SRtRC EU um ein Zeichen gegen Rassismus und jede andere Form von Diskriminierung zu setzen.
Nehme an unserer Menschenkette teil
EFDN organisiert mit Unterstützung der European Club Association (ECA) und der UEFA Foundation for Children die 5. Auflage der #Morethanfootball Action Weeks (22.03. – 18.04.2021), die größte Kampagne zu sozialer Verantwortung und Nachhaltigkeit im Fußball an der sich im letzten Jahr u.a. Borussia Dortmund und Bayer 04 Leverkusen sowie mehr als 100 weitere Fußball Organisationen beteiligt haben. In diesem Jahr setzen die Teilnehmer mit einer europäischen online Menschenkette ein klares Zeichen für Solidarität und Vielfalt. Diese Menschenkette wird am 24. Maerz online gestartet und soll die Vielfalt der sozialen Projekte von Fußball Organisationen und der involvierten Personen abbilden. Angesichts der Zusammenarbeit von Vereinen, Ligen und Verbänden aus ganz Europa passt diese Aktivität sehr gut zum diesjährigen Motto der Internationalen Wochen gegen Rassismus: „Solidarität. Grenzenlos.“

Alle Fussballorganisationen und Fans sind eingeladen sich an der europäischen Menschenkette zu beteiligen. Neben den Hastags #IWgR und #Solidaritaet.Grenzenlos nutzen sie bitte #morethanfootball und #DiversityWins für ihre Posts in den sozialen Medien.
Mache Fotos von dir, Spielern, Trainern, Projekt Teilnehmern, Fans, Sponsoren und allen die für Solidarität und Vielfalt im Fußball eintreten. Poste die Bilder zum Beispiel als Instagram post mit mehreren Bildern oder in einem Facebook Album.
